Activeworlds was opened June 28th 1995. It is a universe of hundreds of virtual worlds owned by private people and companies. AW was developed by the Worlds Inc, but it is now run by Activeworlds, Inc. There have been many registered citizens over the years - latest citizen number March 15: #372157. You can chat, explore, and even build your own cyberspace home in AW.
